Visiting Tramcar Trev

Made a visit to Trevor`s Lanyon Valley Electric Tramway last week.
Unfortunately it was a bit of an anti-climax.
I took my Sydney steam Tram along - charged it and tested it before we left, but obviously 200miles in the car was too much for it, and it didn`t work. (Found TWO broken wires when I got home - the dreaded black wire corrosion on the negative of NiCd batteries!)
Trevor`s trams also refused to perform as well as expected with some battery voltage problems.
But we posed some pictures, I looked very appreciatively at his handiwork in building the overhead and we drank some tea.

You almost hear the bell telling me to get clear...

Tea ? Is that all you guys consumed? :-\ Great photos by the way.

Fantastic steam tram :o

Why is it that the locos which work perfectly when no one is watching them immediately develop a fault when a visitor arrives or when you take it to someone else's railway? And why does switching on the video camera immediately cause rolling stock to leap off the track?

Mr Murphy plays a role. It was snowing here last Friday, by the time I grabbed camera tram and controller and got out to pose some shots it stopped.....

That Murphy fellow really gets around. He's all over the place like ........................
