USB Driver for 1200Z

I wanted to update my Navigator via my 1200Z but I cannot get the PC to talk to the 1200Z. I have tried to download a USB-serial driver from Prolific.com as Windows(7) indicates this is the problem but to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas please?

Now I don't necessarily know what I am talking about however I had same problem with my Lenz system. My solution (and it may not apply to you) was to use a 64bit driver. My source of information was http://www.bahnfan.net/post/2010/04/25/64-bit-drivers-for-Lenz-LI-USB-on-Windows-7 . As I say its for Lenz but it may be a start.

What version of Windows 7 are you running?

I'm running 64bit ultimate on my machine (Although I'm not sure of its pedigree). My wifes machine (She is fab) is running 64bit home premium and that has now done the update although it has apparently dirtied her machine with train stuff she says. Can someone please explain this?
