Trying to make a purchase from Germany

Stumbling over a pending perchase from Germany.

Now the item I wish to buy, is one of those which you have to contact the seller, to get the postage rate to the UK.

So having contacted the seller and got a price, and agreed to purchase, i then hit the BIN button, and that is where it all falls down,
and i'm back in the loop of having to contact the seller etc....But now after two days of trying to resolve it no reply...

Its not a big purchase, but one of those odd little things that you carn't get over here, all in with post would be less than £25.00

Anyone been in this position, and how did you resolve it......

Will it allow you to pay for it or does it let you no further than contact seller? If it did allow payment, you could alter the postage in Paypal maybe.

Had the same problem a few days ago, two soloutions

1 ask the sell to alter his add to say posts to the European Union when he does that pay pal will let you pay
2 the seller can make an exception on his buyers list for you and that will allow you to pay via pay pal

I used option 1 the the seller I was in contact with and it worked like a charm to use option 2 use the contact e-bay and they will chat you through what needs to be done and give you a copy of the instructions that you can e-mail to your seller.

Had another go at contacting the seller, with the above suggestions, fingers crossed....

Two of them left, three watchers and two days to go...

Nowt special Roly, just a belt holder for the Navigator, tried to get one befor, different sellerl, same problem.

Do that as a matter of courtesy Paul. Offer a German translation of the English version.
