Train Line Mallet on my new line - 3 Short Vids

Dutchelm Mike: maybe you should point out, in detail, all the ways in which the Harz Mallet is NOT just like the TSSD Mallet..... or then again, maybe you should just keep your head down for a few days..... ;) ;) ;)
Jon.

Head down mode. Detail differences only apply to handbags & shoes. (Maybe it's time to do an audit).

Oh dear, looks like I need to give up posting on this Posting on this particular subject. Why do we need this sort of response? There are plenty of ways that things can be looked at. I already posted a Link to a German site that has loads of Pictures of these little babies.

This is a good one of 5902 in Green. For interest as you pour over pictures of these Locomotives it becomes apparent that over the Years there have been many changes. I guess that we are lucky that TL have given us a good basis to work with and get what you want (should you choose to be brave enough to hack it). To my mind both of the incarnations are pretty much as they are NOW. Looking at my pictures in comparison with the model Pretty much shows this. Though I suspect that there will be minor differences. Missing Footsteps being amongst them!

Please please please lets us all be friends.

Hi JonD - very sorry if you misunderstood the joke in my last posting - my comment to Dutchelm Mike was a lighthearted reply to his similarly-intended comment about his Good Lady saying that the new TL45 Harz Mallet he got was "just like" the TSSD (LGB/Aster) Wurttemburg Mallet that he already had..... so I jokingly suggested that he should explain the many differences between the two (real) locos to her in minute detail.... as we all know, this would most probably NOT be a good idea! ;)

It was in no way a comment about any of the versions of the TL45 model, which as I've already said, I am very happy with!

Don't you just love the internet, SO many different ways that things can get misinterpreted - I'm very sorry if that is what has happened in this case. :'(

The other Mike: do P&S have it (the green one) up on their website yet? I'm assuming they do since you have a photo of it with their watermark across it, but I couldn't find it - actually, I couldn't find anything TL45 related on their store, they don't seem to have a category for them yet?

Jon.

Jon,
Oh what a relief, many thanks for the Heads Up. Would have hated to start a Newquida Type Row tyat was so disruptive to the Mad site. Will keep quiet in future and just keep on posting. Spelong mistooks adn lal!

No problem, JonD - don't worry about it, things can get so easily misinterpreted especially with my slightly skewed sense of humour.... ;)
We're all still friends on here (I hope)!

Dragging this back onto topic, I must try to get the promised review written up soon.....

Jon.
