I've been liasing with Bram to make this tram battery powered and radio controlled Keith.

Still won't stop me from being a wuss though.

Great to see you posting a bit Mel. And that snow is really spot on. Like you say, just the right amount. We've had another couple of inches already tonight. Track'll be under snow again now.

As for joining us r/c battery freaks, now I'm well impressed. It'll be burnt fingers next... Look at what's happened to the Stainzmeister. Slippery slope mate.

I think there's room for all types of power. They add another dimension to the running, and if you 're carefull, you don't even burn your fingers.

Love the tramlok - that will look good through the narrows - pics please, snow and all

We had a bit more snow last night. Nowhere near as much as others, but still nicely in scale. It's starting to thaw now, so I thought I'd clear a bit of track and pose some pics.

The WGLR have had the snow plough out and managed to get a limited passenger service running - diesel hauled, just one coach and a luggage van (for all the Chrissie presents)

The snow ploughs have been out on the roads too;

4 wheel drive is the order of the day for road transport;

Finally, the train approaches Gooey North Box.
