Oh, the shame :-[ :-[ :-[Martino said:Here's where the diesel had to go out to drag the train up the slight grade into Farnham Common.
And ended up running the whole thing herself.

Fine looking train. AS Greg says, any chance of filling the tanks with strips of lead flashing (my preferred weighting system)?

Probably moved the county boundaries again..G-force1 said:It could also be about making sure the pony-trucks aren't carrying too much of what weight there is. I.E getting the weight where it counts.
My only other thought was that Farnham was in Hampshire not Bucks???![]()

I wonder how many of those pubs are still open now? I only moved to St.Neots just under 3 Years ago, we have lost 2 in that time. But another went just before I got here. So. Probably 1 a Year. This is not good for a Modest sized Market Town.Martino said:Ah yes, the pubs of the Farnhams. I spent most of the 70s in the then Emperor of India, which changed to the King of Prussia (as it was called before the 14-18 war) and now back to The Emperor, which is what we called it in the 70s. Then there was the Forresters, The Royal Oak, The Green Man, The Victoria and the Stag and Hounds. In Farnham Royal, The Duke's Head, The Crown and the Jolly a Butcher. The White Horse in Hedgerley, The Stag in Burnham Beaches, The Crown East Burnham, The Blackwood Arms.......
The memories, the memories.....
