Productive afternoon. Sore fingers because of rail clamps. But finally the railway has reached the east.... An unknown land....

It's going to nearly double the running length of the railway.

Embankment now complete with anti-cat, until the grass seed gets established (cocktail sticks). The track courtesy of @dunnyrail has also turned up. So it's nice to get a rough idea of where the track will fall.

Should line up perfectly, it's just because the garden is sloped, so the left hand side will actually be in a cutting. I can feel the back pain already

Taaaaa. Yeah I ran out of clamps but wanted to get the track to the path to create a level bed.

Just got in from work and decided to do a few Rail Clamps ready for tomorrow. Fastening the track in 3 piece sections. Should make it a bit easier tomorrow after the earth works.

Well that was a busy day. I'm knackered. Can't do any more as I'm still waiting for some wire and stuff from Jadlam that's not even set off yet. Not impressed, given everything else came a day later from other suppliers.

Naaa, it's just an Aircon Unit for the bedroom.....

And with a little grass seed, and some rolls of turf, the track is done. I will do my waterproof electric box tomorrow for the return loop module, in preparation for my wire and track power connectors coming. Though it's not looking likely it will be done on my remaining days off. I also need to fit motors to the points for the house side loop, now it will be seeing more regular use.

Yes I was wondering about cats paw marks, even with fast setting stuff you were lucky to get away with it with Moggies being so curious as they are. I should have sent those little curves as that last wiggle I had probably the perfect left over R1 cut piece for it but perhaps you already had a suitable bit of previously cut curve for the location.

Will be fun and with trains disappearing for s while will add so much to the fun, looking forward to a visit at some stage.
