The Woodlock Line

Morning all. Just ordered a couple of LGB straight track sections to plain line this crossover. Years ago, it was a simple locomotive release, but as the railway got extended around it, it became redundant. I can't remember the last time it got used, and indeed never had point motors installed. So, track plan amendments done, ready for when the track comes. Should also add electrical reliability too, points are always the weak link in electrical continuity, especially for 4 wheel locomotives.Screenshot_20251215-104138.pngPXL_20251215_103858864.jpgPXL_20251215_103858864~2.jpg

Got up after nights, and decided to remove old ballast with Henry Hoover ready for the new track, which will hopefully come tomorrow. Should be a quick retrofit with some nice new ballast.
Deep dig, hope your track arrives soon, When do you have to give up the possession?

All you need to do now is buy next doors garden to extend ‘TO THE WIDER WORLD’. When you do, speak to me I have a ton of track here that needs a new home!
Imagine that, if nextdoor had the same hobby. Unfortunately not, he has all on, pulling a few weeds out....
