The Woodlock Line

I can't see why the previous neighbour would object. It's your garden, and its not as if you're going to be building anything that will interfere with their access or garden

I'm more surprised that the local planning authority headed up by Mrs Duncan didn't object....

Erm..... (I don't think she looks at this forum) :D She did a little bit, but I wore her down....

Shared drive where the only stipulation is that there is no obstruction to access. Which there never was, but I wasn't prepared to spend the money on something that was going to be a problem for someone. Ironic that their garden WAS like looking at Wakefield Metropolitan District Council Weed Cultivation Development Centre.....

A bit of rough measurement, the basis for my entire railway.... Before we go out for the afternoon.

Phase 1, to the front. Once in the front, the track will be laid on a postcrete trench, because that's easy, with natural borders to the grass (part of the planning permission stipulations), but this will be phase 2. The R1 points are to give me an idea how a R1 corner will fit....

Ah I think that was the other project at the bottom turning circle where I used Heyn R0 to achieve the corner.
I was recalling your post #963, but upon looking at that again, I see no mention of radius. I must have been thinking of someone else who draws red lines on photos. What do you expect the loop radius to be?

Undecided as yet. R1 fits, just. But that might look crammed in. I have been very happy with my R0 from Heyn, elsewhere on the layout, but that restricts what can use it. R0 would look better scenic wise.
