G Scale indoors, O Tinplate, Micro Layouts

Tim , oh I have lost interest at times.
Mostly when I realize I was going down a dead end or that I was in over my head regarding time and ability to commit, or that I simply wasn't interested anymore, that was part of the reason I have dismantled more than a couple of layouts.
But that nagging goading feeling in the back of my mind (call it the Muse, or maybe just simple neurosis) keeps me trying different ideas until I find the best solution for my situation, switching this layout to a harbor theme was one of those constant nagging goading mind pushes. If I was to offer any advice I'd say back off for a while, take some time and read or go hiking/walking/driving whatever, because it sounds more like burnout than disinterest. That's happened to me, I had to drop a lot of ideas when I burned the old layouts, sold off alot of the stuff that was just extraneous and had become a distraction.
BTW my changes may take alot longer to effect, I mounted the LGB three way turnout, and the long side happens to be on the wrong side, which adds about 2 inches of extra straight, that pushes my lift bring and hence the curved track on the peninsula also, farther over, so I will have to rework that part of the layout, its doable but it will take time as I still have a garage full of crap and half of that is sitting on top of the track.
But I know what needs to be done, plus I have an idea I want to try, namely to see if I can modify decrepit Lionel bascule bridge for use on this layout...just might work, maybe.
