Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

another sunny day - after what seems like weeks of either work or drizzle.
Time to get some trains out again. No wind so the smoke hangs around nicely.

Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

It's great to see a 1K out and about too! It seems quite a large scale, similar to the Frank S, Stainz, Meyer and HF130 diesel and the Saxon coaches - so looks bob on with those! I wish I had the space and cash for a set :)

Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

It snowed. we got off lightly in Kent. About an inch or so.

Re:The Oxney Island Line - from the begining again.

In June I added a bit of Harz detail. These metal (the originals that is - the models are plastic) sleepers are being used in Germany on various lines and gauges. Good for holding track on corners apparently.

PhilP.

It's a KoF diesel shunter/tractor.

Originally a DB standard gauge machine, the Harz has re-gauged it for metre gauge and repainted it from red to orange.

It's one of the newest LGB Marklin models....
