A quieter day today on the B&CVR, however an opportunity was taken to test the sightseeing cars discovered in the recent workshop move

Cracking day on Saturday Col. Cheers bud.

Pass on my thanks to Deb too for the copious supplies of pork pie, cake, ice-cream, tea/coffee, cold drinks etc.

Hope I'm forgiven for the "get back to the sink" comment

Only shot a couple of pics. Too busy enjoying the banter.

Dave's V200 - ooh it's big.

No open day would be complete without a spectular Hub crash, and he didn't disappoint. To be fair, an out of gauge wheel set was the true culprit.

After receiving some 5-digit assistance up the Quay bank my Corpet hauled Col's blue n cream piko rake. Made up a nice looking train but he wouldn't let me take em home.

Some nice pics there Gareth, glad you enjoyed it.
Think you got away with it mate
I did offer to keep your Corpet here to be fair

Deb explains to Gareth what will happen if he makes another sexist comment....

Ruritania's breakdown train shows why LGB need to reintroduce the Corpet loco. In the background Dave's diesel is trying to sneak up on the train with evil intent.

Good grief Peter, that pic even scared me
That second pic is lovely, a grey Corpet is on my wish list. Don't think Deb would mind me buying one either

Some great pic's shame I missed Dave's crash , I can see now why some one always brings along a break down train . Must get one for when Dave next pays a visit ,:D

Top man :D
It worked with the barrel bar car last year so here's hoping!

The running session last week only highlighted one serious concern which was the loop at Uber Junction. An R3 point was purchased as surplus from Cogges Railways recent upgrades and the other track ordered in readiness for the upcoming works.

And after
Due to a chest injury the works are not as substantial as I usually prefer but they can be beefed up later on.

A test train confirmed the track and wiring and also the newly fitted Piko wheels on the coaches were all ok. The former tighter alignment being fairly obvious in this pic too.
The B&CVR now has no R1 curves or points on it running lines

Posh beggar! Looking good Colin.
Don't worry, Dave can still derail trains on R2s & R3s.
Ask me how I know.....

Great work Colin will be able to run some of my large diesels on your line now  thats if you have a DC supply .

Glad to see the developments and hope the injury isn't too bad. I have tried a few times this week to sell track from the back of the car, but it hasn't met the success it did last Saturday afternoon. odd that.

Thanks gents:thumbup:
That is strange Ian perhaps you'rein the wrong place
Your bigish diesels should go round now Rich, but I'm not sure if my reverse loop units will work on dc.
My ICE train always used to jumped off at Uber loop but has been running all day pretty much without too many problems.:bigsmile::bigsmile:

Anyone seen selling track from the back of a car is suspect

Due to the afternoon heat and the ongoing injury to the PW gang leader the workshop turned out some refurbished engines.
Testing taking part after normal running hours.
