Hers the latest batch of photos showing things that have happened since my last update
Basically I’ve ran trains, one was battery manual control and the other radio control,
Was eventful as you had to keep a close eye on both trains, and make sure they didn’t crash or derail!!

It was also a chance to test out my modified Bachmann coaches and see how they looked out in the daylight

These two pictures show the progress of a small track powered extension I’m adding, so far it’s take a about 6 weeks, but hoping soon to fire up the cement mixer and finish the mountains, and then finish the trackwork, as this small extension includes a reverser loop, triangle for turning trains and storage sidings

Just a few more recent pictures as things slowly warm up,

It also means any finished winter projects can come out for some testing

Over the winter I bought a playmobil church, it looks good and is a lot cheaper than the piko option

Just need to sort out the weeds- there are rails under there!

Testing out a newquida bogie van conversion, it’s a van with the bottom 2 rows of planks removed, and then mounted on a flat wagon

And a new purchase, all converted to dc and hauling a van train

Just been catching up with this thread. Interesting to see how the line has evolved and is continuing to develop. Good to see plenty of photos of running sessions. You're clearly getting a lot of enjoyment from your line. I see you're moving over more to battery power. Certainly a move I've not regretted. Interesting developments in goods stock as well.

Thanks for the compliments, I’ve got at least one more interesting freight vehicle planned, just need a find a doner vehicle or 2.
Here’s a few pictures showing latest developments,
The small scenic loop is progressing, I’ve weeded it and then put down a concrete weed membrane, just need to finish track laying and then put down artificial grass and a fence
Went for concrete has a had some cement that needed using and also a nice smooth sub surface helps with running

Another view, just needs track finishing and ballasting

A view showing the complicated junction set up, there is a turning triangle, 2 return loops, hidden siding and a running loop all in one!

It’s a good job I run battery

Another update before autumn and winter bring work to a halt.

I’ve placed a few rock along where the mountain/ cliff face will be, it’s one breeze block high, which gives enough clearance to drive trains under

So it’s going to be a mountain and train storage area

When the weathers better i will mortar it all together and sort out the buildings on top

It’s a work in progress but the track is a loop so I can run trains in the event it snows!!

A few pictures from a bit of running in the winter sunshine,

it seemed an ideal chance to test a few winter projects,

mid you look carefully, all 3 of the vans are somehow modified from the standard

I’m still recovering from Dan making the tea at work and doing a damn fine cuppa without smoking anything.
Usually we make the S&T a brew but it was a bit busy, chaos is the technical term, so while he waited for a block I delegated. Now I’m going to get him to practice more. He’d make a good G scale fireman as he shovels sugar in with abandon:devil:

I like grass. Come April, we may see some. By May, we may even be able to walk on it. Unless Ma Nature has a leaky bladder, as she did in 2019 .

Been making the most of being in isolation, managed to run lots of trains and helps to entertain the children

still need to practice the photography side of things, but that will happen one day
