The EM&BHR

LGB loco and tender that you seemed keen to part with ;);)

Hope all goes well at the vets, if not, you and Lorraine have done your very best for him.

Ah that loco and tender......Sorry Steve but Gordon (our esteemed GSS secretary) bagged it at Stuart's meet for same money that I paid for it, so unfortunately it has gone. Quickest sale I have ever made!! You can see us discussing it, amongst other more serious things, in the photo you posted of the meet.

Thanks for the nice comment about Mog, Steve. We will see what the vet recommends. Mog is not in pain but we do not want him to go that way at all. His back legs are not what they were and he is thin as a rake but still eating tons .... but he has stopped grooming himself and that is a bad sign...we shall see..

Anyway are you about this afternoon as I have a 'window' (Del-Boy speak) in my Filofax (remember them?) diary  Actually its on the computer but it doesn't have the same ring to it!
Would like to see the new indoor layout very much..

Whilst at the Essex G Scale Society meet yesterday I acquired 4 small tankers for my indoor layout. At £12.50 each I thought they were a bargain as they all had metal wheels .

Today, out came the spray can to make them look a little better. I'm happy with the result

Here's one all labeled up

Hi Steve
It looks like you have some new-kit-ah :rolf::rolf: (I know it really is HLW...just couldn't resist the pun!)
Good buy there. There was nothing that I was after though :(:(

Steve

How many of those DOE stickers have you got left?

Christ that was quick work with the tanker wagon's, worth the money for the wheel's alone. The new layout is comeing on well (PLEASE JUST DONT GET ANY IDEA'S ABOUT FITTING A SHUTTLE UNIT TO THE LAYOUT SO YOU CAN RUN A RAILCAR OR SOMETHING ELSE UP AND DOWN ON IT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN)

Chris, it's sitting waiting for you (know what I mean;))

Gordon, that's the last of that size, but, I know a man

nicely done steve ,, tankerslookgreat

Nice work on those tankers mate....

I've spent a couple of days devising a timetable for my indoor layout.

I have done this so that when I take the layout to events, I can make sure that all wagons will be moved, and I won't get in a muddle :bigsmile:

Here's one of the rota's

Done a bit more to the indoor layout today. I bought a small bag of Vermiculite to use as ballast. It looks quite effective.
