Great video Bigjack, the triple header looks great.

Good pulling Steve
Now just get the extra weight on them and we will have to test the set again on the incline to Arbour Summit!!

Right-o we will have to get then tested. Another good excuse to play!

I have decided to build myself an indoor layout, I want to build it on a modular platform so that I can transport it to shows as well as being able to use it in the shed.

Plans are at the moment being drawn up at the moment, but before I can do too much I have to wait for the track to arrive. Pictures will be posted as thing progress.

I've had a delivery today, the boards and battening for the indoor modular layout. I'm using floor boards as they interlock. They were cut in half to make each board 60cm wide

I used the battening to tie 3 pieces of board together, making each length 98cm. This has made 4 sections that just slot together.
Here is one piece that I just made

Here are the 4 sections put together, with a piece of teas track on it.

I'll do a little more tomorrow, if the shoulder is up to it.

Good start Steve, take care of that shoulder though.

should keep him out off mischief for all off 10 minurtes:thumbup:

You've tidied up the shed to boot as well

It's not to bad to be honest with you, it just awkward lifting it with a gammy shoulder.

I've laid them out in 4 sections, each section has 3 pieces of board making each section approx 60cm wide x 100cm long.

In an ideal world, yes.

But as I don't live in an ideal world. Then no

Done a little to the indoor/portable layout today.

I've painted the baseboard with a stone finish paint, just have to wait for it to dry.

I've laid the points on just to see how they looked. Here they are in place.

The join between the point at the top right and the 2nd point is half way on the board.
