Slow Month for working on Layout as real life got in the way replacing double glazing that's blown.

Managed to get New station platform just about finished so it can be painted and then installed. borrowed the building from my other station to see what it looks like, going to make a new building but a bit longer to included ticket office and loos :D

train 23-08.jpg

Got both lines to the end of the border now, SWMBO thinks it ends here ...but the center line will carry on into a return loop or all the way round to join into the start I miss continuous running

Silene Castle platform fixed and wired, and Station building started, the other stations I built the building first and made the platform to fit, doing it the other way round this time so fingers crossed it fits over the platform mounting when finished :D

Decided to rename this station to Calluna and use the Silene name on the old station now CBR works again Calluna to Buxus Railway :)

New Station Building progress very slow , still need to find some 1mm PVC board to make the Roof tiles but struggling to find this time as I am not paying £20 delivery for a large sheet I am too mean :D But the good news is it still fits over the mounting on the platform

Next unfinished / not started project was to make a water tower to house the reverse unit so I don't have to keep unplugging it and taking it inside after each running session, so Water tower started at last. once complete I will need a water crane and coaling stage to finish off the siding,...the list gets longer not shorter :)

Seems for ever since I started a water tower. nearly finished it at last, I added all the bricks and arches on the inside and two water pipes to feed the wires up to the tank, as the windows are large and you can see into the base of the tower. Just need a warm day to seal it all then decide where to put it and then make a water crane to go with it, But now I have somewhere for the reversing loop to live the wires join inside the tank with two 4 way waterproof blocks so I can remove the module in winter if I want easily.
