Sound problems with Mogul

Sorry you're still having a problem but really glad you did that physical connectivity check! hope you get to the bottom of it soon.

You only need six wires connected to check the decoder..
Two for track, two to a motor, and two to the speaker..

But first, do a thorough visual check for any blown chips / components on the board..

Latest update. I did what PhilP suggested and wired the decoder up to a spare motor and speaker and put it on my test track. Motor runs fine but no sound. Looks like it`s terminal. I am going to contact Massoth and see if I can send it to them for checking. If so I will send it with my Dimax, R/c unit and finally get my railway fixed. I have sold the lot to the people buying my house, so got to get it running properly !

but no sound...

F6 to turn sound on?.................

RC Receiver, configuration? Frequency?, Channel? ID's?, between it and the Navigator.....

Update, I have admitted defeat on all my problems and going to send my Dimax, my R/C receiver and my XLS decoder to Peter Ting at Massoth. Problem is the parcel is seriously heavy and will probably cost me more in postage than it costs in repair ! Wish me luck.

At least you will have peace of mind once it's all sorted (and that's worth its weight in gold)!
