Signal / point control box help

Hello Josh,
Welcome to the Forum..

We need a little more information here.?
Are you talking about an LGB point motor, signal, or one of the orange boxes of switches for controlling points?

Photos, and /or model numbers will help.

How is your railway wired?
Are you analogue or digital?

PhilP.

Hi PHILP , THIS IS WHAT IVE JUST PURCHASED , I have an analogue system , wired from an Lgb transformer .

Do I need to buy some sort of power lead box ?

You need wires for connection to a ~15V AC power source. Depending on what other LGB stuff you have, you might already have a ~15V AC outlet on an existing power supply. The 5075 orange switch box has terminals to connect the ~15V AC supply to, the are usually marked with a "~" symbol (see photo).

You need to run wires from your ~15V AC power source to the terminals on the switch box.

That will be the terminals numbered 3 and 4. For outputs to say the signal I am not sure why each of A,B,C and D have 4 outputs where the signal may only need 2, likely there is supply to lights included. Perhaps @viaEstrecha can elucidate, he has a lot of knowledge with LGB switch boxes like this.
