Run of the VW van

Nice!
But way too fast! :eek:;):nod::nod:

Got me thinking.... :eek:
If you found a vehicle, with the correct gauge wheelbase.. No tyres, just the rims.. ?? :think: :devil::devil:

Only problem would be if you 'steered' it off the track, possibly?? :think::think:

You've been watching too much Top Gear :D:D:D

Anyhoo, still awaiting my Tamiya gearbox from Japan in order to complete my 1:24 version :smoke::smoke::smoke:

Personally, I prefer the Merc to a VW....

Assuming the Merc is powered??
I assume power to the rear 'axle'?

At the Syracuse NY train show, Clem, of "Warrior Run Locomotive Works", had a rather nice looking single axle/motor/gear box for sale at around $38.00 US. it included metal wheels. It might be ideal for kit bashing units like the VW van...
He also had a very reasonable low amperage RC unit that could handle the motor/gearbox assembly.
If you "Google" Warrior Run Locomotive Works, you could contact Clem for more details. He is in Pennsylvania, Trumpistan, formerly, USofA.
