I'll let you know when it arrives. I went through this thread yesterday to see where the wagon had been. This is what I came up with, apologies to anyone I have missed.

This list made more sense in excel!

That little carriage has certainly been around the block.
Bet the wheels don't tell the whole story!

Including the visit that wasn't i reckon this wagon has traveled in excess of 36,000 miles.
My attempt at a map of this
round robin.jpg

I'm sure there are more errors but I did have to go through 38 pages to get this information!

image.png I notice on the map that when it went to Florida, it's shown a going to Miami. In fact, it went to Northwest Florida, some 12 hours drive from Miami! Closer to New Orleans than Orlando and in a whole different time zone ( Central not a Eastern). Like the difference between Glasgow and Cornwall, in distance and culture! ;-)

Sorry - I mis-read the posts - I though it had got to you.
It got around a number of members railways in the Auckland Garden Railway Group so could well have got to Northland.
As for it's time in Wellington, it did a few around here, including ours (the H&MGR) in Tawa and Gav's Taita Gorge Railway in the Hutt Valley.

I just heard from Chris that the boxcar has arrived back in England for the show!

Thanks for sending the wagon Paul. I now need to put together a fitting display. I will do a very short write up, mention GSC of course and use my map of where it has been, even though it ain't 100% accurate. I also plan to have an electronic photo frame in the cabinet to show photos of the wagon's travels from this thread. Just want to check that everyone is ok with what might be their photos being shown at a public exhibition. If anyone has any objection please let me know.

Here is said wagon with some of the mementos on my dining table.

Oi, it went to Shropshire Telford before Shropshire Shrewsbury

I don't know, tarring me with the same brush as them Shrewsbury folks :):):)

No objections from me! Like your Parry People Mover Chris - looks like the real thing! Any pics of it?

Pictures put on a public forum - nuff said.
