Round Robin boxcar

Sorry about the silence, but the grey metal box gave up the will to live at Christmas and is still not very stable.
I will post some pics as the box van made it to two railways mine (sorry my son Craigs) and Jeff's live steam.
think its heading south now to Geordie land for I hope personal delivery to Nodrog.

Any chance that it could be got to me in Hemel Hempstead sometime soon, I intend to lift the Dunny Reichesbahn in preparation to move House to who knows where. Part of the line will go next week but I am keeping some of the line is place just to keep me sane till the great day and the birth of a new and (hopefully) better Dunny Reichesbahn. Would like to commemorate the closure with a visit of the Old Robin Car that is Circular.

Can I second that; after its visit to Hertfordshire please could there be a detour to Cattewater as the line is under threat of imminent closure owing to our forthcoming move.

Ey oop! It's got mice......

Having PM'd the last poster on this I am in doubt as to where it is and who or when it will be moved forwards.

So I would like to say that there are at least two of us DAUN SAAF who would love to see the beast on soon to be closed Railways. Be assured that it will be posted back to the Northern West at the earliest opportunity....

The box car is at Annieshalt and I believe the next recipient is 55.5.
If you check on page 16 there is a list.

I thought the idea was for it to visit as many railways as possible? In that case a short detour to a couple of soon to be closed lines would seem to make sense when it has finished it's North East tour

Many thanks ferrysteam, yes there is a list but in region areao rder not showing where it s now. So mr 55.5 is it with you now?

Hey chill out folks, it supposed to be a fun hobby.:rolf::rolf:
Can't speak for Chris-M,
but i certainly would have no objections to the Round Robin box car doing
a few spirals on it's travels
and visiting the Beeching Boys first

Especially as the part of the idea is to visit as many GRR as possable
it would seem a shame to miss out on the oportunity to catch as many as
we can
A few weeks extra is not the end of the world as we know it, so long as it
moves around and gets plenty of pic's, rather than sit in its box

Have really enjoyed watching it travel around and all the creative pic' so far.

But i would think it beter if you do want to see it roll in to your yard, you put
your names down on the list with a nice polite request

This car travels around - sometimes fast, sometimes quite slowly - I am sure it will still be around when peiple have moved house, moved hobby, pasts on to greener pastures etc.
Its movements seem to have a life of its own, despite a list, and personally, I like that.
Nice to see it visiting railway places away from G Scale land as well.

Yeah keep it going, it's a fun thing, the order in which it goes round doesn't matter. Wonder how much it's cost in postage so far? That's a sotto voce comment, you're not supposed to listen. Hey, anyone up for seconds? Sorry, sorry, only joking, honest. Oh well, tomorrow is Asda day, well it asda BANG!!! [style="color: #000000;"]someone has just shut me up, g'night
