Just to bring you all up to speed it is very nearly at my house.... due to poor weather and poorly people the transit has been delayed. I was hopeing to collect sunday from the east midlands meet but i will be at yeovil working as ever, but if all goes to plan it should end up 5 miles up the road ready for me to collect early next week:thumbup::thumbup:

Possibly it will be exploring my Bottom soon. Something to look forward to.

ah well at least it has left the home counties, and making its way north .
may get this far by open day in june.

Any chance of it pulling into Lancashire,
I'm sure it will be shunted around a fair bit if it does.
(Hat and coat on, just can't find the door)
 
I have the much travelled box car at the moment, but it will be off to be delivered to Steve Parberry this Sunday, Feb. 13th.
 
It was delivered to me today will try to take it somewhere special during the week
 
Sorry for not uploading any new pictures but wok and the weather have prevented any outside activitys latley. it is still here safe in my garage and if i dont use it this week i will make arrangements to move it on.

Just Before it left the local wagon inspector had a quick look and demed it not fit to travel due a defective coupling hook. But after he attached the crippled card but before he entered on to the system the shunters had it away:thumbup:

The boxcar is seen here enjoying the new years refreshing aromas emanating from my Windy Bottom. Seems reluctant to leave.
 
The box car arrived last week and has enjoyed some testing here on the Nutbrook and also up the street at Rons railway here in sunny Ilson.
