Re:Round Robin boxcar visits the KMRR

I saw that Vic and did wonder? perhaps Steve could take a black marker to it? I would hate to think a postal worker somewhere "lost it" because of that.

Great Steve!! one of the amazing things about this is the BOX!! it's still the original one I sent it out the 1st time, and look at all the post marks on it................
YES, I caught that too!
Reminds me of a box I had that sent H0e stuff to/from Holland about 12 times I had for a while, then someone threw it out...

Re:Round Robin boxcar visits the KMRR

On a dull damp December morning the van has been shunted onto the front of the regular BS&WR passenger service. Probably contains perishables requiring fast delivery, lets hope its not fish!

I hope to take the van over to Casey Jones' CFR at the weekend so it can visit the lines of some of the forum members who regularly visit there.

Re:Round Robin boxcar visits the KMRR

The Round Robin van has met up with a few mates here on the BS&WR.

The video mode on my by now somewhat dated digital camera leaves a fair bit to be desired, especially in poor lighting conditions. However as the weather is unlikely to improve before the van moves on I've posted a poor quality video on YouTube anyway.
You may still be able to spot the clue that identifies the GSC van.

It's still here. Transfer to the CFR last weekend was deferred due to the burst water main there.
I'll get it to Casey Jones before the Christmas weekend and expect it'll be in Notts early in the new year.

Re:Round Robin boxcar visits the KMRR

Whilst it's in the UK I'm sure we can host it for a week on the EJ&KLR post Christmas! I wonder what my 3 year old daughter would make of it!! Has anyone 'fixed' the signatures with varnish/sealer yet?

Re:Round Robin boxcar visits the KMRR

Does anyone have a calendar or timetable for the truck?:callme:
There are a bunch of us on the European mainland who would like to run it.
And we promise to send it somewhere nice for its holidays afterwards.
