Have arrived in Leicester at BGR.
I started my day with at Birstall garden Railway, sitting on Tony's small workshop, bachmann Percy behind me having a face job, not sure where he going to put the copper tube, think I'll move on.
Am at Birstall , South end of GCR. Some Euro big boys above me.
With some US big guys now.
Found some new Friends, great to talk to, Thomas and James are from the US, made by Lionel Trains.
Yippee , behind a Bernina Railcar with full sound . Great stuff.
Today is Dec 30, tomorrow New Years Eve, what next on my Adventure.....(A must see event...!) Tony and Scott have some great ideas for me to end my visit to Leicestershire.

The Round Robin made its way to the CFR over Christmas. Casey Jones had to have a ride in it.
Round Robin has now departed the CFR for other lines.

The new year is now here and what a great night we all had.
Most of the gang from the Charnwood Forest Garden Railway went on the new years eve trains at the Great Central Railway. This is our story....
To start off I went into the Great Central Railway's brand new Cromwell Pullman Bar. (Seen with a bottle of GCR Red Wine. £9.95 a bottle, best be good stuff)
Seen here with Alex the bar lady. We got talking and found out about her G scale garden railway at home.
Had a chat with Steve (Right), Adam (Left) and the guy that hates his picture being taken....
Before we had a chance to have a drink we where at Leicester North, the south end of the GCR. Walked off to have a look at the loco.
After a ride back to Loughborough with much singing and drinking it was time to hit the platforms...

Here is the loco that what doing the hard work...Black 5 45305, its only been back in steam for 2 months, owned by the 4305 group.
A real honour, supported by Bill Ford, President of the Great Central Railway

Now with Liam in a very happy mood.....Looking very smart for the 1st class passingers.
After another round trip and alot more eatting we were once again back at LN.
A quick sit on the loco before midnight.
And to see the new year in, on the footplate with Pakes (Driver) for a long blow on the whistle...
All at the CFR would like to wish happy traveling to the Round Robin boxcar and a happy new year!

Round Robin has now left the CFR. He's off back to Neil Robinson for a journey up to Walesby for a winter meet, then who knows where.

'Fraid not, due to general ill health Casey hasn't yet delivered it here, but as Ferial's been quite poorly I've would been unable to deliver it anyway. I'm now hoping to get it to someone in Nottingham, probably Royale, next weekend.

Alas i didnt make it to the meeting and never collected but i see Neil didnt make it either.
If it makes it to John i can collect and then move it on...
