There was a thread recently about refurbishing/rebuilding LGB point motors and a member (Philp possibly) showed a replacement connector. I've searched on a number of combinations of words but without any success, can anyone help, please?

It’s in what happened at your workbench, 27th September ( not much has happened at my bench since! )
And PhilP is your supplier of said connectors

As the connectors are to be replaced, use a soldering iron with a desoldering sucker to remove the wires as well as you can , then side cutters to chop off the legs, leaving nice clean holes for the replacements.

Malcolm
PS last week I spotted used lgb point motors at £20 in a specialist garden railway shop

Thanks, Malcolm, I'll follow both of those up.

Funny this should pop up, my pal in somerset was looking for 4. I had some obtained a while ago that were totally dead recovered from long lifted R3 points. All were brought back to life, in fact I find them virtually indestructible bar 1 at my pals where the rear bearing and other plastic bits had been melted away. But the electrics were still recovered!
