Hi , how many points can i run off of the 51750 ? also if need to attach another 51750 to my transformer can i splice the wires together with my other 51750 as only have 2 ports and one being used for my signal lights ?
kind regards
josh

You can control 4 points or signals with your LGB 51750 Unit.

You can gang these units together, by inserting pins into the ports at the sides.

However, the Unit is no longer in production, and finding these pins could be difficult. Someone here may know of a source or something similar that will do the job....

four, or up to eight.
as points are operated with impulses, not with continuous electricity, the number of impulse-buttons (four) is the limit. (save, if you want to operate more than one point with one impuls-button or reed switch - in that case there should not be more than two point motors be activated together)

what Gizzy said.

finding these pins could be difficult. what Gizzy mentioned,

you can replace theses pins by wire with banana plugs.

Thanks GIzzy , I have the two pins in the side with the thin slots down each pin , how do I connect them to another unit?
Thanks for your help

Should be a corresponding pair of sockets on the next unit - just push the boxes together and enjoy the moment! If memory serves, you can also chain units connecting the black and white Nos 3 & 4 terminals, to link one box to the next.

Well sorta
Theres the 52750 epl booster. (It looks like a control box, but is red, has a pilot light, no rocker switches_. Hooks up in a gang like other control boxes
I believe this had a capcitor which sends an extra amount of energy to the points

Indeed - highly recommended for extra 'oomph' if there is a long cable run to the points or if changing two sets of points at once (eg at a crossover). I use an EPL Booster, but have also built a capacitor discharge unit, for my grandson's railway. 52750 is front row on the right.
