Hi Folks,

I have an old Play Mobil chassis with a 27 MHz electronics.

I want to re use the chassis but modify the electronics to take a 2.4 GHz receiver.

I think I can retain the motor driver electronic board and dump the old receiver board, but need the cct diagram to see how I would interface the new Rx.

CAN ANYONE HELP WITH A CCT DIAGRAM ??

DETAILS ON CHASSIS :-

PLAYMOBIL
1997 geobra 30 66 642
AM 27 MHz Receiver
4.8 V DC

Thanks Grandad Pete

Not sure if that part number is correct, 30 66 642.

I think there might another number in the last group 642?

Try this website, http://playmodb.org/ ....

The chassis number will end in a 0 as all part numbers were updated when a new computer system came in and a 0 was added to existing 7 digit numbers.

I'd be interested in how this develops as I've been wondering the same thing. (Not that I'm competent to do anything about it if it is feasible!)

Thanks for the info.

Typing 33 66 6420 in the search did not produce any results.

The web site is maintained by a Heather Patey and there is a linky to her e-mail address.

Might be worth asking her if she can help....

One possible source of help is Walter Turner who is a member of this forum. He knows at lesst as much about Playmobil trains as Playmobil themselves. Walter's email on his wsbsite is wpc(at)btinternet.com

I'm sure Heather will help if she can. A part number beginning 33 is a bit unusual in my experience, but Heather has far more experience of part numbers than I have, as you can imagine from her site.

Just out of interest, she's based in Newfoundland.

Mods Note
I just changed Walters email address by changing the @ for (at). You can swap it back manually if you use the address.
The reason for this is to stop automatic programs picking up email addresses and bombarding them with spam.
It is never a good idea to give ones address, phone number or email on a public computer system.

Apologies for the error. I wouldn't normally expect someone to put their email address in a post, but as this was on Walter's website in the public domain, as it were, I thought it would be OK.
