Funny how things come back to you. Before I bit the bullet to convert all my expensive Peco Pints to live frogs, I did a pseudo conversion to them. This was not so extensive, I just wired in a Micro Switch in the same way as NTPNTPNTP did and then ran the wire over both of the EXIT rails of the Switch. Leaving the Dead Frog in place this converted the point to a sort of dead/live frog point and did away with the arching skates.

I also took out all the Peco Wiring and wired up the Blade rails to each of the running rails and additional wires over the fishplate where they move, thus ensuring full electrical contact in these areas too. It was only later that I pulled out the dead frog and converted these to be rail and thus live due to problems with stalling Corpets at slow speeds. Naturtaly all that work made those that were part converted a breeze to Live frog when I carried that out later.
