Looking the other way,
If you compare this with a previous pic,
notice that the drainage ditch is now overhung by the new slabs,
thus maintaining volume of flow,
but leaving a slot for debris clearing.
When track is laid either side, a wood plug with top panel will fit neatly(?) in place to save wheelchair wheels getting locked in
The two tracks will then curve round to the right & into the canal Basin,
being linked by points just under the bridge,
so as run rounds can be made
Between the track visible here & the new tracks,
a quarry track/ road complete with potholes & puddles is envisaged
