That dense patch near the camera,

MB says that reminds her of when she was a little girl & saw what looked like a nice smooth green lawn,

Sailor Boy, Jim Lad? nah, Jim Ladd

has a pin in his coat tail for fixing to a seat for taking corners at speed (train)

Pin just visible?

But I discovered it has enough give to swing his feet to Port ( left for landlubbers) Trimming the boat that way

so allowing any inbalance in load to be compensated for

this boat is very sensitive to any slightest breeze, Wont stay still while I photo it!!

That dense patch of Duckweed is hiding some oxygenating pond weed, the long spiral type

Eloda densa, Canadian pond weed,

I know duckweed is not everyones cup o tea, but it does stop the water going green

& looks almost prototypical for a QUIET backwater

No way do I want pond lilies in there or Irises!!

What I did was to empty these two "ponds" Which have less than 3 square feet of surface And dump eveything in the canal basin

Now those ponds are clean this can run again

Found some rusy old chain,

Is it for someone to grab hold of if the fall into the dock?

Or is it for dingies to tie up to?

need to tie some tatty ends of old rope to it at random

Looks like management had to fork out for some second hand galvanised stuff to finish the job Even that is starting to rust in places

Well it looks like I sealed the hull of that boat

its now so watertight that is full up to the seats with RAIN

Can I fit it with a bilge pump?

Radio controlled of course

So wet its the only pic I am to take so far today
