NSLR Loco shed/Depot Makeover Ideas????

having taken in the Depot for some for maintenance i have decided to change the exterior as i am not happy with the look. I would love to hear your ideas and color schemes .Heres a few pictures to refresh your memories, as one madder sead the Tesco Building

It's brilliant as it is.

If you have to change it what about a light green in the main with dark green where you currently have the white detailing? Becasue it is a nice straight modern building i wouldn't rush to give it the run down look.

hi nico,,,hope if that help u as u wishes......wink...so mr spockie post this awesome photos here!!!!....so u can re-paint it into rust brown roof..weathering the whole walls.panel....etc......to give a good old feeling...like it been standin on yr layout for yrs...........

A lot of modern roofs are painted silver to reflect heat to reduce thermal creep in the covering material. So a silver/light grey roof.

i agree with stockers,,,silver is suit u!!!..all every depot have silver on on the roof same as B-Q DEPOT!!!...why not...go for it...silver roof with some weathering it....simlar bit of rusty effects...

got a tin of gray spray paint,but some maintenance work been done on wooden roof .hopefully i will get to spray it tomorrow all going well,haven't decided on the color for the walls yet:thinking:

Firstly nice building and like the look of the yard. Maybe as said a grey roof and concrete colour walls? Anotheroption might be to add Corrugated sheet to the roof? Really like the shutter door as well. What will help is when it gets a bit weathered. Google UK diesel depots for some more idea's maybe?

got started on spraying the loco shed,in the first photo it shows the roof sanded and a coat of watered down waterproof glue applied ,the second picture is the first coatof light gray applied:wave:
