I fianlly took my LGB porter from the value starter set and added a saddle tank to it. I used styrene for the tank and added some details and weathering.
Brilliant. What a difference the tank makes to a functional little loco. Looks the peice- not a conversion I would have taken on. Very well carried out.
Good conversion, Shawn, and nicely painted. Interestingly different from the usual Porters. Once you've seen the loco with the saddle tank the original version just looks plain wrong!
