Anyone got one of the new LYN type loco,s yet noticed jeremy has them in stock (the black liveried ones) still waiting for the Southern green ones !

I have some pictures of the new Bachmann 2-4-2 Baldwin tank. see below p.s. it's now got brass gearing. Alyn last picture is of the old loco and the new version.

Oh, I don't know- a bit of weathering and it'll look great.

Alternatively, that's a prototype that's not painted, and the one you can buy from the shops will be rather less vibrant. Just an outside possibilty

I saw one a friend has bought a couple of weeks ago and thought it looked pretty good (it was in "proper" Southern Railway livery). Only thing that let it down to my eyes was the Bachmann crew - I'm not a fan of their "plastiscene" arms and they looked wrong in a British operated loco. They should have included a Scenecraft crew IMO.
