need a help with radio control for my locos?

anyone out there who r expert on radio controlled stuffs . be bear with me tht my FA1 or nw-2 need change into radio controlled.but what types of stuffs will do the job? battery for fa1? volts? speed controlled box? tranmitter? and of course hand held controlled to control the speed of train on track? i need some1 fitted for me as im not expert on it.

Have a look at this site. Del Tapparo is the owner and builder of the stuff. He is very helpful, and will answer any questions you have. I was apprehensive about changing to battery power at first, but Del walked me through all of the steps with very detailed answers to my emailed questions, which were many. I have been converting to battery power since early this year. That's after twenty years of track power. I don't thing that I will go back.
