My ÖBB 399 / NÖLB Mh

Hi everyone,
Long time no update on the project but I have been busy since the last post. A lot of people had interest in our model but also preferred the version that is currently running on the Mariazellerbahn, the Mh.6. So of course, while doing some updates to the 399 model we developed the Mh.6 version in parallel. Here is a first glimpse, I will provide pictures of the real thing once the parts arrive at my door:

Hey guys,
a bit of time has passed since my last update to this thread!

I just wanted to tell you what we've been up to the last couple of months. First of all, we finally were able to register our company "TF-Models OG" properly here in Austria. This means we have the official right to offer and sell our products commercially. Of course, this meant we could finally do some real "advertising" for our model, which we did! For the second time now we visited the open day of the "Tullner Gartenbahnverein" and presented our ÖBB 399 as well as our "glass" Mh.6 prototype. It was a lovely day with lots of great talks (and some beers).

Since our company was registered back in March we already managed to deliver 17 locomotives with the aim to increase that number in the coming months!

We hope you like the pics!

Greetings,
Ben

Great looking model! Congratulations on your commercial registration. I'm curious, what is the minimum radius for the ÖBB 399?

Lovely model, makes me wish I had gine down the Austrian route. I could quite well have as I visited the Steyerbahn in 1970 well before I visited my chosen East German line one 1981, plenty of stock available by LGB for Austrian prototypes.

This is brilliant! Could the same principles used by Bensch_55 be used to create LGB-style models of UK locos. Surely, there would be a huge market here???

Well, nothing can stop you joining the fun with Austrian locomotives/stock ;)
Well I do have a U2 that has been converted to look like an East German 0-6-2t, other than that I do try to keep to Metre Gauge East German prototypes as much as possible, also now being ‘dead rail’ I have more than enought locomotives and railcars.
