Hi everyone, just wanted to introduce myself.

I first got into G-Scale as a kid about 20 years ago and found my way back into the hobby sometime last year. I found out about this forum through this post and was happy to still see some activity here.

Right now I'm in the process of building my own ÖBB 399 as a full 3D-Printed project which is also based on the LGB Rügen chassis:

(All of this is work in progress)

I hope you like it and have a nice day!

Welcome to the forum Sir....

Hi and welcome, do you a name we can use or would you like "Bensch" . We like to see your photos of your progress so please keep them coming.

Hey Jasper Jasper , there's no special colour coding to the parts, it's only there to make them stand out. The boiler sadly had to be sliced apart because the whole part would be slightly too big for my printer.

Welcome Bensch. Looks like youvemade a good start with your printing. It's a great way to add to your stock.

Hi Bensch. Welcome from New Zealand. I look forward to your progress on the 399 class lok. I have modelled Steyrtalbahn for 50 years in both HOe and G Scale.

Welcome to the forum, nice start to the 399, had an odd run or two behind them at Gmund plus odd pictures at other locations but not working at the time of those visits.

Thank you all for the kind welcoming!
Once the Mh / 399 projects gets closer to finalizing I will make more detailed post about it :)

Welcome from East Anglia! I model anything that runs on 45mm gauge track without falling off. I build much of my Colorado narrow-gauge stuff using coffee stirrers, but I'll admit that a 3D printer of any kind has so far eluded me. I applaud your ambition!
