Mi First construction with foam

Thank you very much to all. I really believe that the result was better than I expected, that's why I decided to show it to you. I do not have much experience in this type of construction, but the difficulty of finding 1:32 models in the market prompted me to do so. Otherwise, the system is fast, only enamels are used in the first layer of paint, the rest are acrylic colors, which dry very fast. In two weeks I built it, which is not enough considering that I worked a few minutes or a couple of hours when I got home after work. I encourage you to observe the landscape where you live, I imagine that England must have beautiful buildings that can imitate.

Best regards from Chile

Jaime

That is incredible.... what a finish to it and the detail is superb.
Is it weatherproof or is it put away when the weather is bad?

Hi

Isn’t weatherproof, the acrylics paints are diluted with water. Addition the birds can leave fall its pumps.

I guess pumps is another word for bird poo! I didn't think it would be suitable for outside use, but it's even more incredible that you built it in an hour or two a day over 2 weeks.

Hello PM, the station I build from foam was attacked by a woodpecker because there were bees inside, the whole left window was destroyed and showed a big hole in the side. Hope it tasted well to the woodpecker. The whole building was occupied with bees and I think the station master was severely hurt by them. Surely it was a bachman figure, so it was not a job for the undertaker.

There`s a prototype for everything

I can only assume that it's a translation thing. I hope this doesn't sound racist or anything in anyway whatsoever, but "let fall it's pumps" is absolutely bang on. Much better than being sh*t on. Brilliant, although probably not as brilliant as your build Kurt:clap::clap:

Ok, ok . Pumps isn’t the correct word. May be “Bombs” y traid to say. ( in spanish bombs and pumps , both sound the same. Sorry for the mistake, and sorry for my English.

You have no need to apologise - you are doing just fine! It is a the humour on this Forum and not a criticism. How can we criticise when we haven't mastered our own language:D! Your building is inspirational!

No pumps sounds brilliant, as for your English, it never ceases to amaze me how most people from overseas (for us) speak and write it so well. I for one can't speak a word of any other language apart from yes, no, thanks! Even then no one who speaks the language I'm trying to understands me, and answers in English!!!
So please be reassured that there was absolutely no criticism on your posts whatsoever.:)

This model building reminded me of a series of modelling episodes in the Continental Model Railways magazine a few years ago. I really love the atmosphere of natural neglect in this larger scale model. Inspiring!

Hello
A small update to my first house, a toilet also made with the same technique, easy and brings realism

Have a nice day

Jaime
