They can only be reprogrammed to sounds provided by Massoth.

I've got one fitted in my Schollenbahn rack loco - it even has the rack sounds recorded. Installation was done by the sadly-departed John Powers of Hobbybahn. Maybe one day I'll take the loco apart and see how he did the installation so that I can copycat it for the FO loco......

There are a few of these (or similar loco's) in existence. The Val De Nuria in Spain has at lease on in the Museum with possibly another for occasional use. Also the Monsterat Line (also in Spain) has one that I think is used for odd access up the Mountain, probably for PW use but it has been restored though not originally from this line. I think that there are very similar machines in both France and still some in Switzerland.muns said:Phil,
I am not aware that Massoth do specific sounds for this type of loco - its a HGe 2/2.
I doubt that they will either as I understand that none of them exist to take samples from.
