Massoth Navigator

Having acquired another Navigator for Mizzy to use, I've been trying to copy the loco data list on my original unit, to the new one.

But I can't see an easy way to copy the info across, unless I fat finger everything into it again.

Does anyone have an idiots guide on how to do this please....

Gizzy Gizzy I have never been able to find a way to copy data accross, either for locos or route settings.
Sorry to say it's all got to be done manually, unless they have an upgrade on the MST, that still baffles me.
If anyone knows of a shortcut my money would be on Paul at P&S Hobbies.

I thought it all came together when plugged into the Base Station? But I wonder if the Navi’s are at a different version of the software could that be an issue?

Thanks chaps!

JD, I did wonder if plugging the Navigators into the 1200Z might work, as my system is RC.

Something to try....

Gizzy, sounds like you want all your loco numbers, their descriptions and maybe their pictures loaded on to your second navigator?

This is how I see it. - None of that info is used by the central station. The central station only requires to know what address it is talking to.

Those locomotive details on the display are only used one way to our eyeballs, purely for our convenience not for the convenience of the Massoth bus. It just makes it easier for us to find the desired address number. Therefore all that information is only stored in that navigator and is not transferable.
I'm pretty sure that plugging in your navigator will not help.

Thanks Alan and Gordon for your advice.

It does indeed look like the loco data resides on the Navigator and is not transferred to the 1200Z Central Station.

Although it does seem that the Navigator has to be logged on to the 1200Z before you can enter loco address and pictures. I tried to enter data without switching the 1200Z on last night, so some sort of 'handshake' must occur between it and any Navigator.

One strange thing. I did a factory reset on both Navigators and started re-entering my loco addresses, but all the correct loco icons came up when fat fingerings the loco numbers, so the data list isn't entirely erased!

Thanks for your help all....
