I love the feldbahn cars. Of all of the stock I have, they still perform the best on my railway. Plus, with these short cars, a realistic length train is easily accomplished.
So do I. I have 12, eight bolster versions, two where the gear for holding the logs has been removed by a previous owner and two which at one time had been fitted out to carry the forklift truck.
For the last four, I want to make some "drop-on" bodies to convert them temporarily to open trucks or tankers. Maybe too use an old Playmobile workman's wheeled hut to make a guards van for one and a Playmobil crane from a tow truck to make a crane wagon.
Oh yes! A bar-on-wheels, I have to try that (albeit in HOe)
A good bit of 'railway recycling' there Henri....Just finished some 'boogies' (??) made from only feldbahn chassis. An a piece op L shape aluminum profile, nuts, bolts, washers and black paint.
The feldbahn loco's have trouble hauling the two loggers with the additional three small loggers around the track. I ran them yesterday evening but while storing the loco's aferwards noticed quite warm engines.
So Both the Deutz and O&K are on duty![]()
