Had a chance to put the K in steam on Sunday to test out the new Radio Control and Chuff Pipe that John Campbell made and fitted  i was chuffed to bits with the chuff pipe really brings the loco to life  Had the loco in steam for over a hour pulling 5 freight cars and the new Bachmann caboose i had just got did start with 6 freight cars but the loco found this a bit hard on my grades . The radio control worked really well felt more in control this time . Looked very nice running in the sunshine with steam coming out of the cylinder drain cocks which i now keep open all the time .

Very nice Ritchie....

Stunning stuff Richie. Look the part and sounds the part. I'm still amazed that it runs around your R3's with such aplomb. Must be down to your skill and control.

richie your a swine!!! ive tried to avoid live steam but you make it look so tempting,,,,

i will be poor forever now,,,,,,

Many thanks for all your kind comments
Still amazed myself Max how a loco this size runs on R3 curves handles them better than the Bachmann K .
Dave taking the move to running live steam was the best thing i have done in G scale so different to running electric  and no track to clean
