Live steam on friends layout

Yesterday I went over to my friends to run some trains. Hes the one that got me into live steam. He just built the layout this past month. Its a dogbone shape with a bend in the middle. It has a passing siding at the bend. Future plans for the layout call for a small mining line that will run above the current line. It will be elevated with a mountain and trestles. Landscaping and details are not all done but the RR is operational. It has no track power and was built for live steam mainly. Part of the line is elevated on a wall about chest level. Makes for a great area to steam up. Its a fun layout to run on and the best part is he lives a few miles from me. Here is a vieo i made of our day.

What a great site for a railway. Nice to see your little jobbie working away Shawn. It certainly looks at home chuffing through the woodland.
