thanks to vic and his suggestion of inside cylinders on a lil this is what i have come up with .
first picture this is in its bought state

this is me cutting it about a bit the large dome will be moved forward

bunker put on the back now the dome has been moved forward bell cut off and sand box fitted

foot plate rearranged and side tanks fitted and starting to detail

as you can see all the parts are sprayed with halfords grey primer

mmput back together again blemishes removed and put out side for a test run

grey primer sprayed over any defects electrics added and i like to isolate the engine with a switch

everything in good order waiting for its top coat and detailing does anyboby have a idea on its colour black, green or brown

well up to now the census is black and weathered black i can do but not so good at weathering to a high standard . can not wait for a bit of warm weather so i can spray it

she looks okay in black i am not sure about the weathering but thats for another day and it will probably have the normal bits ans pieces on it and i think it would be okay to put some chains on the front to make it look as if it can do parallel shunting and the odd bucket .

sitting in the sunshine it had its first run today might have to have some more weight

engine now under full weight seems to pull well but we will see what its like with some caches behind it

well thats it thanks again for the insperation on the forum have not got a clue what i will do next but i feel another kit bash coming on all i need now is another lil and a long coach for an australian steam coach that another story probably in the winter hopefully can start playing( or do i mean operating ) in the garden
