More fun and games with the new Marklin/LGB stock and the Massoth XLS M1 decoder..
I am really beginning to think all the design / programming guys from these two companies need locking in a room, and seeing who comes out on top!! :
Right:
XLS M1 supplied in a box with speaker, marked up for anniversary set Rhatia..
1. On my digitrax I get a constant firing of a whistle.
2. Rear lights on going forward.
3. Guess what? Front lights on going backwards.
4. Interior light is via A2 on interface of loco, so controlled by F2 button (as is a sound).
5. firebox light is via A3 on interface of loco, so controlled by F3 button (also a sound).
Remember this decoder is supplied in a box labelled for this particular loco.
NOTES:
I had the same 'constant whistle' with a standard XLS wired into the other four of these I have done. - This appears to be an incompatibility between my Digitrax CS and the Massoth decoder. It does not do this (luckily) when I put it on a MTS / Massoth CS.
I CAN alter the programming to get the lights to function correctly. But I should NOT have to surely?
This has to be a design / implementation problem.
