Does anyone have one of these LGB locomotives ? I was wondering if they are analogue DC, or DCC ready, or do they actually come with DCC sound already installed please.
If they are analogue DC, can you switch off the sound, as I'm not bothered about sound - I'm retired and my layout is a tiny inglenook style, in the living room, so sound is of little importance to me.
If they are DCC sound fitted, what DCC control system would I need to buy. I'm on a Piko analogue DC train set controller at the moment.

I have a maroon one that was fitted with sound so the reference number is likely different to that. I was looking to move it on but have modified it to look like a Harz Kamel with fake movable buffers and a centre coupling. Sound could possibly be disabled but not sure, perhaps best way may be to turn it down to nothing with the sound pot if one is fitted-can’t remember now.

You can always contact them via their website. I have just bought an LGB loco from them and Nick was very helpful with info, guidance and extra photos.
