Sunday I checked the contents of both boxes. The sawmill is complete, but the Bahnhof is far from complete unfortunately. I contacted the seller and he refunded part of the money. He was not aware of the incompleteness so I think this is very kind of him to refund it partly.

There are still good people out there!

More progress. Some parts need adjustment, see some bare wood hete and there.

Now all walls are glued together. Next is to fit the roofs which require quite some amount of altering to get them aligned well.

Excellent! You're right one job at a time - ii's an aspiration I mostly fail to achieve

Must be the Netherlands there are a least 3 bikes. I like the well used worktop on your heavy duty bench. Crowded workspace - you must be secret handyman ;).

There are six bikes in this shed... Four on the floor and two hanging at the ceiling.

The workspace IS crowded, too crowded to my likings but a lot of 'stuff' is in this shed and I'm really terrible to throw away stuff as 'it might come handy one day...'! Oh I inherited that from my dad!

Not being able to get the correct color for the roof, I'm going to crush small pebbles in the correct 'color' orange/brownish, paint the roof and cover it with the 'crushed' pebbles 'dust'. Here is a test.

Getting on very well, I gather you will be bringing in the buildings rather than leaving them out 24/7/365. Worth thinking about a coat of Waterproof PVA on the very bottom of the building, this will help protect the base against any dampness that may be around whilst the buildigs are in the garden. Ince you have finished the build and all painting of course.

I intent to store it inside during the winter.

The base is another thing. The kit comes with a triplex base. Not suitable for the garden. I'm thinking of creating a concrete base including some space for outside storage of planks etc.

Putting something on the base of the building to prevent moisture is a good thing to try to incorporate.

And I did the crushed pebbles trick... some finetuning required but the color: WoW!! Perfect!
