"Try" being the operative word here.... :D

Welcome Babs, hope you enjoy spending some time on here and that we can help you with anything you need to know (well, about G scale anyway....).

Jon.

They are all mad you know...
Welcome to the madness

Welcome to the fold. In the winter months you can get a lot of enjoyment out if a simple oval with passing loop and perhaps a siding so you don't need that much space. My indoor layout is only about 2.5 metres square so if you have shed space or an unused bedroom you can run some trains rather than just looking at them, nice though that is. A starter set is usually an economic way to get basic track and even a DCC system, but you may not be ready to select your DCC setup yet so you can start with analog/DC.

Thank you everyone for your kind messages. Collected An HSB guards/baggage car today secondhand LGB and some track. Babs
