OK, I'll open the batting.... today was group running day at Dave A's. I was first to arrive, and got some uninterrupted photo time before the rest turned up. Here's my new railtruck on the bridge at Wendy's Curve, on Dave's layout.
JR was active with his trusty digital, and we look forward to his contribution.
First to arrive, all to yourself and only one picture Gav :-\
Okay than I'll fill in a bit more
Lets start with an overview of Dave's Browns Bay Railway, as Dave, on the left explains the workings of the slightly over scale signal...
...which is switched via a sort of key fob type radio controller. True it doesn't control the trains (yet) but it does make a great feature and I understand is great at night
It was a tad windy and as we all know one of the garden railway givens is if you have windy conditions, a bridge and a pond your bound to have a coach go swimming at some stage. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I missed the swimming but did get the see the loco that stayed on the track but was exiled to spend the rest of the afternoon circulating without it's train
Meanwhile at the station sat Gav's Climax and new rail truck.
Luckily Sunday service was over so the Vicar could safely record the loco number into his note book without raising awkward questions.
It's apt I captured Brian's train on this section of the railway as several of the buildings now enhancing the railway where build by Brian. But like the dummy I am I didn't photograph them (I got distracted by Wendy's baking).
