G Scale Railways
Disney
The Prisoner
Nearly finished now so a quick pose in between heavy showers.
I think they will look good behind my Lyn. A bit of roof fettling still to do before I'm really happy but getting there.

i think they look great! well done that man!!

So then what do I do with my spare carriage Kit? Order some more bogies and make another carriage or build a grounded camping coach? Your opinions welcomed.

things always , imho, look better in 3s..:thumbup:

Very nice Andy!

I think a 3 coach rake would look even better....

Andy,
Some years ago, a contributor to the 16mm egroup produced a sort of formula which opined that carriage rakes suit odd numbers... ie three looks better than two, five looks better than four etc.
I generally run mine in sets of three.
So, yes, order some more bogies... or donate the spare kit to the MR!

They really do look the biz Andy.:thumbup:

If the roof of the third carriage is beyond help, building a replacement from scratch isn't that difficult. I've done it on several occasions.

A bit of styrene sheet, a short length of drain pipe, tie the styrene around the drain pipe and dunk it in a bowl of boiling water :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Leave to cool before cutting the string (or put it in the firdge if you're impatient)

Easier and quicker still, cut a piece of thickish plasticard to size, scribe it down it'e length and it will bend all on it's own. Glue it in place and then cover with a piece of thin plasticard. The ribbing shows through, just like a real coach.

You have to love anything that includes ribbing

Here's my 3, unfortunatley I'm having the same roofing problems (as you can see!)
Not painting these, however I am trying to stain the wood to get it a little darker, though not quite teaked!
