I think they're breeding...

Looking good.
A lot worse things you could be breeding.

Interestingly, she asked "can you get some red and cream coaches to match the Red loco?"
Good to see my old friend the Brown one with its 2 Pullmans, looks like the Pullmans have been breeding as well! Red one is an object of extreme desire. We do need to see a full line up of all 4 now please?

Years ago when Aristocraft first "Hatched" their Eggliners; several of us bought a few of them and tried desperately to hatch theh in an incubator. Now that Bachmann has decided to reissue them; it might be time to try hatching them again. This time, the Eggliners may be properly fertilized, and they may actually hatch... first person to hatch one, gets a free membership in the Branch Railroadian World Fellowship...

When I suggest "Hatching"; I sure as hell don't mean going to the closest dealer and purchasing a dozen. I mean HATCHING, as in incubation at home...DIY... Any fool can buy as many of anything that they want, if they have money to burn....TRY actually HATCHING ...to see what you get....!!
Are we having fun yet ??????????????????...!!!

The Blue one is missing so that is 5 to collect, though there are more according to my LGB LOK (2013 without the recent updates) book as follows:-

Green SEG 104
Black DR 99 201
Black CFV 413
Red CFV 413
Black BEG II
Blue Orient Express 685
Brown Continental Classic Express 1

Plus other LGB references to cover older versions and Sound etc.
So I think Phil needs one more to get all the Colour variants. Better start hunting and saving Phil!

Sorry but I think that Fred was being a bit ungenerous with his comments, we all have our loves of the the hobby and collecting is an important facet of it. Were it not for some of the well heeled collectors over the pond and in Europe the variety of LGB that we are now able to hunt for would not be present.

First picture.. Blue one is to the left of the blue Krok!

Also, I wish it was my collection.. Belongs (with many times more) to my 'Oppo' at Chasewater..

Aha missed that! Just think of all the space that lot will take up and the storage area for all the boxes. Need a house the size of a planet!

That would be about right - that lot would cost the earth anyway!:)

My dear old Blue Krok was happy to loan her carriages and take a well-earned rest whilst Monsieur Blue Mallet took over for the afternoon!
